Games, crafts & curious little systems

I make small worlds and see what happens.

Hi, I’m Roz — the person behind Phlox Carrion. I live in the South Wales Valleys and make games, experiments, and tangible things with my hands.

A note from Roz

Phlox Carrion is me.

I’m Roz, living in the South Wales Valleys and making things because I can’t quite seem to stop myself.

I use AI openly as a tool for thinking, writing, coding, and making. Formica — and this website — were made through AI-assisted vibecoding, and I’m proud of that. I’m not interested in pretending otherwise.

I also do a lot of spinning, crochet, knitting, and other hands-on making. That’s why I care deeply about honesty around creative work: I hate seeing AI images or generated patterns that don’t work presented as human-made. The tool is not the problem. Misrepresenting the work is.

Use brilliant tools. Be honest about what they helped you make.
